1. Who looks after your data
QubaTingz is the music brand of BadmanQuba, also called Quba (Kirenga Jimmy), a music producer in Kigali, Rwanda. He decides what is kept and why. For anything about your data, call or text Quba on 0792 011 622.
2. What we keep, and why
| When you | We keep | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Buy a beat or soundtrack | Your name, phone number, the beats, licenses, price and order code, and how the payment went | To take your payment, open your downloads and keep business records |
| Book a studio day | Your name, phone number, the day, the service and your note | To hold your day and reach you about it |
| Pay with MoMo | The phone number the prompt goes to, the amount and the result (paid or not, and why) | To send the PIN prompt and confirm your payment |
| Like a beat | A random code made by your browser and the beats you liked | To show likes to everyone |
| Visit the site | The page, the site you came from, phone or computer, your country, and a code that changes every day | To count visits for Quba's monthly report |
Visit counting is anonymous. The daily code is made from your connection and browser with a secret that is thrown away after a day, so nobody can follow you from one day to the next. Your internet address (IP) is never saved. Bots are not counted. You can turn counting off in .
3. Cookies and what your browser keeps
The site sets no cookies and has no ads or ad trackers. Your browser keeps a few things in its own storage so the shop works: your cart and licenses, your orders (so your downloads open again), your likes code, your currency, and your visit-counting choice. You can clear them any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. Clearing them also forgets your orders on that phone, so keep your order code.
4. Who helps run the shop
These companies handle some of your data for QubaTingz, only to do their job:
- Supabase: the database and file storage (servers in Ireland, EU).
- Vercel: hosts the website.
- pawaPay, with MTN and Airtel: MoMo payments. They get your phone number and the amount.
- Lemon Squeezy: card payments. You type your card details on their page; QubaTingz never sees them.
- Google Fonts and YouTube: the site's fonts and the music videos. Your browser asks them for these files directly.
Some of these companies keep data outside Rwanda. QubaTingz uses them because they protect data well and only shares what each one needs.
5. How long we keep it
- Orders, payments and bookings: as long as tax law requires us to keep business records.
- Likes: until you take them back.
- Visit codes: they mean nothing after a day, because the secret behind them is deleted.
6. Your rights
Under Rwanda's law on the protection of personal data and privacy (Law n° 058/2021), you can ask to see the data we have about you, correct it, delete it, or stop us using it. Just call or text Quba on 0792 011 622. We answer within 30 days. Some order records must stay for tax reasons, and we will tell you if that applies.
If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to Rwanda's National Cyber Security Authority (NCSA).
7. Children
If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian before you buy or book.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the new date shows at the top of this page.
